What is a Giclee Print?
A giclee (pronounced “jhee-clay") is a fine art print created by using a specialized high resolution inkjet printer with archival materials and cutting-edge print technology. The printer literally blends 12 colored inks as it prints to produce seamless, highly detailed prints of stunning color and detail. Giclee prints stand apart with their extremely high level of quality, longevity and value compared to a standard print.
Archival Inks are fade resistant, pigmented inks which provide a superior color range compared to other types of inks. The fine art papers resist yellowing and aging. A giclee should not fade for a minimum of eighty years!
In addition to being the highest quality print available, my prints are limited edition, produced in a limited quantity. Once they are gone they will never be produced again.
